Cloud Computing: Here’s Everything You Need to Know About It

We have been using cloud computing for ages, in one form or another. It comprises of services and data bases that are accessed through web or any private network. It is basically a paradigm where a large pool of systems is connected in private or public networks to provide infrastructure for application, data and file storage. This technology has decreased the cost of computation, application hosting, content storage and delivery. Cloud computing has proven to be a practical approach to experience direct cost benefits and also has the ability to transform a data center from a capital-intensive setup to a variable priced environment. Models for Cloud Computing Services that Cloud Providers offer can be categorized into three groups: Software as a service (SaaS) It offers a complete application to the customer as a service on demand. Highly scalable internet based applications are hosted on the cloud and are offered as services as the end users. SaaS is offered by companies

Uber Drivers are Making Six Figures a Month in Lahore

In an surprisingly impressive revelation, we have come to know that Uber drivers in Lahore are making quite handsome payouts. While average per month income might not be that high, there are drivers who make over Rs. 100,000 a month by just driving cars on the roads of Lahore. “In fact, there’s this driver who topped our charts by making Rs. 130,000 in 30 days”, we were told by an Uber spokesperson. Uber, an on-demand cab service  launched in Lahore last month , is currently operating with comparatively lower number of cars. Demand, on the other hands, is huge and this is only why drivers are making good money as they keep getting ride-requests throughout the day. Uber, for those who don’t know, keeps 25% of the ride cost and shares 75% revenues with the drivers. “You can make a handsome amount if you drive 10 hours a day, given you own the car, i.e. you don’t have to share the revenue with anyone”, said the spokesperson. Quantum Computing: Paving the Way for Mankind’s Future

We saw this week how the Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau’s explanation of a complex topic called quantum computing took the social media networks by storm. And if you wanted to know more about the phenomenon that holds the key to humanity’s progress in the future, then you’ve come to the right place. So let’s begin. Introduction to Quantum Computing In theory and practice, today’s computers are based on classical physics. However modern quantum physics tells us that the world behaves quite differently. Quantum computing is the field that investigates the computational power and various other properties of computers based on quantum-mechanical principles. Making use of quantum effects allows an individual to speed-up certain computations enormously or may enable some things that are not possible for classical computers. History of Quantum Computers In 1997, the first small 2-qubit quantum computer was built and in 2001 a 5-qubit quantum computer was used to successfu
