World’s First Wearable & Bendable Smartphone Makes its Debut

An unknown Chinese manufacturer has showed off a completely bendable and wearable smart phone at a recently held Chinese trade show. The videos of this incredibly amazing phone have taken the internet by storm.
Although very few details about its manufacturing company & the features of the phone have emerged, it does look impressive nonetheless.
One of the few known details about the phone is that it weighs 200g & its fully bendable feature enables it to be worn around the wrist.

The Graphene Screen

Graphene is the new wonder material doing the rounds in the technology industry. It has been a couple of years that phone screens have started utilizing this material.
These screens consist of layers of pure carbon which is only as thick as a single atom.  In this way its structure makes it one of the thinnest, lightest, strongest, and most transparent materials in manufacturing.
Presently graphene is still too expensive to produce at a rate for it to commercially viable, but scientists are also working on ways to make producing it cheaper. It has a long way to go before it can match up with the image quality standards set by LCD and OLED screens.
Nevertheless, this material is the way forward to make our gadgets thinner, lighter, and tougher. This is the reason that Samsung and other big companies are gradually starting to work on this technology.
So what do you think of this bendable and wearable phone made using graphene? Is it enough to make you feel excited about smartphones again? Sound off below.
