The USAID Head of Pakistan, Mr. Miles Toder, called on Vice Chancellor of IT University (ITU)/ chairman Punjab IT Board (PITB) Dr. Umar Saif at Arfa IT Tower the other day in order to explore and discuss collaborative ventures employing technology for development and entrepreneurship.
He was accompanied by his team members Kamran Niazi and Ms Rukhsana.
Dr Umar Saif briefed the USAid team on innovative projects initiated by the PITB to improve the health, education, agriculture and livestock sector.
He told that the e-Vaccs program of PITB was being replicated in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Baluchistan as well.
Toder lauded the efforts of PITB team for running a large number of IT based projects aiming at strengthening socio-economic growth.
